We are responding to COVID-19 through regular risk assessment and management:
• Screening students before they attend courses and excluding those who should not be attending,
• Transitioning to lower risk training and assessment formats,
• Implementing social distancing in classrooms, and
•Implementing improved classroom infection control procedures.
We can still deliver onsite courses to small groups by appointment.
Further:
To limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), St John Qld advises the following:
• Those who have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) must not attend a St John training course until they have been given a medical clearance.
• People who have travelled in from overseas in the 14 days prior to their course date must not attend any St John training course.
• Those who have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus should also stay at home (self-isolate/quarantine) and not attend a St John Training course for 14 days after last contact with infected individuals.
• Those who are showing symptoms of fever or shortness of breath, a cough or a respiratory illness should not attend a face-to-face training course, and if not already done, should seek medical advice.
• Those who are diagnosed with a confirmed case of coronavirus within 14 after attending their St John training course must advise St John Qld immediately on 1300 785 646.
Your booking can be rescheduled at no cost if individuals are admitted to a health facility or required to self-isolate/quarantine as a result of coronavirus concerns.
We also advise all students to monitor the latest directions and advice issued by the Australian Government and Queensland Health authorities, and where appropriate seek the advice of a medical practitioner, to ensure that their attendance at a face-to-face training course remains compliant and safe.
Please phone 1300 785 646 or email enquiries@stjohnqld.com.au if you have any questions.
